@stazera,

Did you try contacting MS support. Looks like a key issue.

Hello,

Is it also possible to change the license key through PowerShell?

I installed SharePoint 2010 Standard edition, but the farm i want to connect this WFE to, has Enterprise installed. Is it possible to change the license type without using Central Administration (Since this doesn't exist when connecting to an existing farm).

Kind regards,

Nico

tried all options, and nothing worked, I have a subscription with MS and the Enterprise key is legit...
the first option you post is grayed out for me also and I cannot upgrade to enterprise
the second option which is "enable enterprise features" is not grayed out, but does not accept the MS legit key given, it returns a message that says "you cannot upgrade with this key".???

Not sure if anyone has had this problem or not but this is a complete, legit, MS install and the key is an enterprise key so I don't know what this is about?
